I am a Linux / Unix System Administrator / Engineer with 20-plus years of experience. I am accomplished in the process of installing and fine-tuning software, OS, and application layers that run on top of server hardware that runs the Internet and web servers.

I feel that my experience creating environments for software applications and web sites has led me to want to help entrepreneurs who may not understand the intricacies involved in starting a website or mobile app from scratch.
I have twenty-plus years of experience managing the full design process. My skill set encompasses design strategy, user research, information architecture, user interface design, and usability testing. My design philosophy centers on simplicity that meets expectations, does not overwhelm, presents the few right choices at the right time, matches the abilities of different users, and addresses the underlying problems with empathy.
